The Rotary Club of Karori Inc. Wellington, New Zealand.

Our Financial Structure

The Club aims to be self-sufficient in meeting the operating costs of running the Club, including the cost of Club meetings and events for members. Members pay an annual subscription and a weekly charge for the costs of meals and venue hire.

The Rotary Club of Karori Charitable Trust is the vehicle for fundraising from the community and for expenditure on Club projects. The Trust is a registered charitable trust and is able to receive tax-deductible donations.

In the last year, the Club has distributed funds to a range of international and local charities and community activities. Recipients include the Rotary Foundation, the Karori Youth Centre, the Karori Food Bank, the Marsden Day Care Trust, the Karori primary schools literacy programme, the Karori community bus, the Cure Kids charity, and the programme for the establishment of a Wellington emergency shelter for women.
